As far as I can remember I have appreciated photographs, not just for their imagery but for the story that lies deep beneath the ink and paper. There is something truly whimsical and powerful about the eye of a photographer. As a photographer I have had the honor to bear witness to vast array of emotions in life, those moments have consisted of tears of joy to tears of sadness. The real story starts long before the photograph is taken, the story starts as life evolves.

I have photographed the joy of weddings to the pure raw emotion of sports victories as well as protests portraying loss and despair. The one thing that always remains constant at all of these moments is my ability to capture the moments and let the photographs tell the story.

Photographs are meant to tell a story but the question is, what story will you take from them. Will you see the bride marrying her best friend, will you see the athlete celebrating their victory or will you see a competitor being consoled as they walk away from a loss. Will you see the faces of protestors as they fight for what they believe in. I’m thankful for everyday that my photos continue to help tell someone’s story.
